Claudio is the first in a very special, limited series of handcrafted, mixed media, sculptured birdhouses. He is one of five operatic brothers from a small village in a very special and magical part of italy. Inspired by wine and dreams of soaring high among the clouds, he and his brothers often join the birds in flights of fantasy. He is joined here by Lucio, the older worrisome brother who is forever attempting to moderate Claudio's antics and libations. Together with his assistants, the Flower People, he tries in vain to keep Claudio steering a safer course and whenever possible, rooted to the ground.
